All parents are automatically members of the Group Council, once their son / daughter is invested into the Scout Group.

The Group Executive Committee meets regularly at the headquarters and its responsibilities include management of the group property, raising of funds, and management of the Group finance.

Any parent wishing to assist the Group Council will be most welcome.

As with all voluntary organisations we rely heavily on fund raising to enable the scouting activity to be maintained and developed.

Some of the fund raising activities are skittles evenings, bazaars, marquee hire, etc..

You are also asked to help and support other fund raising events, thereby making it possible for your son / daughter to get the most from Scouting.
