Be Prepared

Once a Scout reaches his 14th birthday he has to leave the group. He can then progress onto Explorer Scouts which is a District run section and meetings are held at some of the halls of Groups in the District. Explorer Scouts is for the 14 – 18 year olds.

Explorer Scouts are young people, usually aged between 14 and 18 years old. They make up the fourth Section of the Scouting family. There are many types of Explorer Scout Units, some may be linked to your local Scout Group, others may be based around different activities.

In Eastleigh District there are 2 Explorer Scout units, the local one meets at 14th Eastleigh Scout HQ every Monday.
